Projects

  • AbstractSwarm Multi-Agent Modeling and Simulation System: A multi-agent modeling and simulation system for optimizing logistics and related scenarios such as hospital processes. (WIMS)
  • AbstractSwarm Competition: A competition hosted at international conferences (GECCO and IEEE WCCI/CEC) to stimulate AI/CI research for cooperative intelligent agents in the context of logistics and related problems.
  • InteKRator Toolbox: A toolbox for integrating machine learning and knowledge representation aspects (e.g., for finding structural dependencies in data and for reasoning tasks) with applications, e.g., in the automated creation of expert systems from data.(WIMS)
  • BaLaRea-KI: Development of an exhibit in cooperation with colleagues from health services research and with Deutsches Museum Bonn (German Museum in Bonn). The exhibit will collect research data for studying people’s reactions in first aid situations and will teach people about first aid.
