PhD-Position is available

PhD-Position is available immediately for the research project Sigma1-Receptor in neuronal protein homeostasis, autophagy, and neurodegeneration. The project covers the functional analysis of Sigma-1 Receptor by a variety of cell and molecular biological methods with a particular focus on mechanisms involved in maintaining cell organelle and protein homeostasis.

Candidates should have a first-class academic degree in a Life Science-related discipline (Master or equivalent to obtain a PhD degree), a strong background in biochemistry or cell biology, and be highly motivated and enthusiastic to join the fast-moving and internationally highly competitive field of cellular and molecular neuroscience.
