Call for abstracts is closed!

Rules (formal criteria) for submission:


  1. Working address, phone number, date of birth and email address of the presenter
  2. Original work on the topics on Venous Thromboembolism or Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension; review will not be accepted
  3. Abstracts should be unpublished work at the time of submission
  4. Abstract format: word (.doc, .docx) 

    1. English language (Oxford English)
    2. Title: maximum of 200 characters (including blanks, no capital letters)
    3. List of authors (max. 15) with full affiliations
    4. Abstract structure: Background – Material and Methods – Results – Conclusion
    5. Abstract: maximum of 3000 characters (including blanks, tables and legends)
    6. Maximum of 2 figures and/ or tables (figures should be submitted separately in .tif or .jpg format; black/ white only)


Presenters of accepted abstracts will pay a reduced fee of 450 Euros. Abstracts will be selected by an Abstract Review Committee. The best abstract presentations - elected by a jury during the Spring School - will be awarded a Young Investigator Award. Please note, only presenters below the age of 40 will be eligible for the Young Investigator Award.
