Dr. Kristina Riegel

Staff Scientist and Scientific Coordinator

Kristina obtained her B.Sc in Biology at the Julius-Maximilian University of Würzburg and she completed her Master in Biochemistry at the University of Regensburg. Her Master thesis she did externally at Merz Pharmaceuticals.

In 2015, she joined as PhD student the Research Group of Prof. Dr. Krishnaraj Rajalingam. During her PhD, she focused on the role of RAF kinases in dendritic cells. She will now continue and study the involvement of MAPK signaling in modulating the cytokine secretion of tumor cells and their subsequent effects on immune cells.
