We are focussing on the following main areas in three working groups:
1.
Health Reporting und Disease SurveillanceThis working group collects, analyses and interprets data on the current disease burden in childhood and adolescence. The aim is to contribute to care planning, quality assurance and prevention.
The Outcome Research working group investigates the influence of foetal and early childhood factors on the health and well-being of children and adolescents.
The working group analyses the care of children and adolescents in the medical care system and relevant living environments (e.g. kindergartens, schools, municipalities) under everyday conditions. A particular focus is on the development, evaluation and implementation of care innovations for children and young people with chronic illnesses.
