Conventional X-Ray Examination

Compared to CT and MRT, indications for conventional x-ray examinations are decreasing, but are still used in case of trauma, extended degenerative disease of the spine and spinal or cranial malformations. One important indication has remained, the “functional” x-ray of the cervical and lumbar spine in in- and reclination under body weight exposure.
