Welcome to the Website of the Department of Neuroradiology of the University Clinic in Mainz/Germany where you can find information about our clinical and scientific topics.

The Department of Neuroradiology covers the whole spectrum of neuroradiological diagnostics and interventions including coiling of aneurysmas either after subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH) or discovered incidentally, arterio-venous angiomas and fistulas (AVMs and AVFs), acute brain infarctions and carotid stenoses as well as the minimal-invasive therapy in back pain (facet joints, epidural steroid injections, vertebroplasty). Main scientific topics of our department are functional MRI and imaging of the orbita. Please find further details of our research program, recent publications, and some links which might be of interest for you.
