The Polyclinic and the consultation hours of our special outpatient clinics are the first point of contact for you if you wish to obtain information about possible therapy concepts. Under certain circumstances, e.g. in acute crises, short-term psychotherapeutic or psychopharmacological support is already possible. Contact can be made directly or by referral from the attending physician.

First of all, we will devote ourselves in detail to diagnostics: A thorough depth-psychological or behavioral-medical as well as test-psychological examination brings clarity about the clinical picture. If necessary, other disciplines of the University Medical Center can be consulted.

On the basis of the detailed diagnosis and the common understanding of the disease, a consultation about the therapy options then takes place. These range from low-threshold offers of basic psychosomatic care, relaxation methods and lifestyle changes to day-clinical or inpatient treatment and psychopharmacotherapy. We can offer outpatient psychotherapy to patients through the Psychotherapeutic Outpatient Clinic WePP of our continuing education program in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
