Students and Teaching

We happily offer students of various disciplines (medicine, biology, chemistry, physics, psychology etc.) the opportunity to conduct their theses (MD, bachelor, master and PhD) at our institute. In order to offer students the best conditions, our Institute is part of the doctoral program "Mainz Research School of Translational Biomedicine" (TransMed). Current job offers can be found on our webpage by following this link.

As one of the pre-clinical institutes of the Medical School, we offer lectures, seminars and practical classes in basic physiology and pathophysiology for medical and dentistry students.

Additionally, we are giving lectures in basic physiology, pathophysiology and neuroscience for pharmacy and biomedicine students. More detailed Information about the teaching responsibilities of the Institute for Pathophysiology can be found on ILIAS.
