By plane
Frankfurt/Main airport is approximately 30 km from Mainz. A second airport, Frankfurt-Hahn, in the Hunsrück region is around 90 kilometers away.

There is a regular train service between Frankfurt/Main airport and Mainz.
The second airport, Frankfurt-Hahn is served by a shuttle bus to and from Mainz. The trip takes about 70 minutes. 

By train
A current train timetable to and from the Mainz central station (‘Mainz Hauptbahnhof’) can be found at the "Deutsche Bahn" (German Railways).

By bus
The University Hospitals are served by the following bus lines from Mainz central station ('Mainz Hauptbahnhof'):

• 62 (from Gonsenheim Wildpark to Weisenau/Friedrich-Ebert-Str.)
• 63 (from Mombach/Am Lemmchen to Laubenheim)
• 67 (from Mainz/Hbf to Zornheim/Hahnheimer Str.)
• 71 (from Stadecken to Landwehrweg) 

By car
At the motorway intersection Mainz-Süd (A60/A63), proceed towards the city centre ("Centrum") following the signs ‘Universitätskliniken’.
