Future Cluster Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Clusters4Future)
Cardiovascular diseases are the most frequent causes of death worldwide. The level of knowledge in this area is still very limited. The need for research is enormous. This is where curATime comes in.
In the "Cluster for Atherothrombosis and Individualized Medicine (curATime)", one of the clusters4future funded by the BMBF (= Federal Ministry of Education and Rearch), powerful players from science and industry have joined forces to develop tailored treatment and prevention concepts for cardiovascular diseas and their clinical application.
Together with its core partners, including TRON gGmbH, the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Kaiserslautern, curATime bundles expertises and technologies to combat atherothrombosis in a sustainable manner. Further committed partners for the cluster are currently being sought to expand the network across disciplines.
