The University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) is the only training facility of the state Rhineland-Palatine for human medicine and dentistry. One in ten of all matriculated students of the JGU are studying human medicine (approx. 2.650) or dentistry (approx. 680).
