VEBIK Publication Awards 2024

We congratulate our MSE graduates Jana Conrad, Julia Ortmann and Marielle Wirth on their outstanding scientific publications. The following works were awarded as part of the VEBIK Publication Awards 2024:

1st prize (endowed with 200€)

The award ceremony took place on 11 March 2025 in Mainz at the IMBEI. Ms Conrad presented her award-winning work in a short talk. She and Ms Wirth then shared their first experiences in scientific publishing.

"Science goes media award" for MSE students and teachers

The project "Epi...Was?" received the "Science goes Media Award" of the University Medicine Mainz on 14.9.2022, endowed with 2,500 euros. This prize is awarded to work that is dedicated to science communication.

Excellent teaching in the Master's programme - Professor Singer receives DGEpi teaching award

Prof. Dr. Susanne Singer received the teaching award of the German Society for Epidemiology (DGEpi) in September 2021 for her teaching in the international Master of Science in Epidemiology programme. The prize is awarded exclusively on the recommendation of students.
