Epidemiology of tumours of the upper digestive and respiratory tracts using cancer registry data (EpiTa)

The project serves aims to answer the following questions based on the data available in the epidemiological cancer registry of Rhineland-Palatinate:

1. Have the incidence rates for different tumour entities of the upper digestive and respiratory tracts changed?
2. Is there a difference in incidence / mortality in terms of the diagnosis process?
3. How is the diagnosis process carried out for tumours of the upper digestive and respiratory tracts (self examination, tumour symptoms, early detection examination, after-care)?
4. How frequent are data about occupation missing in the Cancer Registry?
