Quadega

QuaDeGA GmbH (Quality Control of the German Society for Andrology) was founded to establish quality assurance for the evaluation of spermiograms. Participating laboratories undergo this test by evaluating fixed ejaculate samples. The results are entered on the Internet platform and evaluated by it by comparing them with a target window.

In the first - still paper-based - round robin test of QuaDeGA in April 2002, 31 laboratories participated.

In the meantime, after the web platform has been established, more than 700 laboratories have been counted. The platform is currently being expanded to include streaming of image content for motility determination.
