Research Interest of the Imbusch Laboratory
The Imbusch Laboratory focuses on unraveling the complexities of the immune system through the integration of cutting-edge omics technologies. Our research employs single-cell and spatial approaches to investigate the tumor microenvironment (TME) and its intricate interplay with immune cells, particularly T cells, in cancer and other disease contexts. We aim to dissect the epigenetic and transcriptional landscapes that shape T cell biology, with a strong emphasis on regulatory mechanisms governing immune responses. By leveraging multi-omics data, we seek to uncover novel insights into immune regulation, tissue-specific immunity, and cancer progression. We are a highly collaborative research group, driving interdisciplinary projects and bridging computational biology, immunology, and translational medicine.
