Student Assistants and Theses

As part of conducting various clinical studies, the Department of Preventive Medicine offers student assistants a wide range of opportunities to contribute, for example in participant management, study centers, medical record research, the biobank, IT, or public relations. In addition, we supervise diploma, master’s, and doctoral theses and offer seminars and training courses in echocardiography, epidemiology, as well as biobanking and databanking.

  • Digitization and document processing with flexible scheduling
  • Reviewing and coding medical reports with flexible scheduling
  • Participant management with flexible workdays and fixed hours, particularly for interviews and telephone communication with participants
  • Processing of biological samples
  • Support with interviews and organizational tasks within the scope of our studies with flexible working hours
  • IT support, particularly in the areas of programming and data management

  • Students from all disciplines (m/f/d)
  • Willingness to work 6 to 19 hours per week
  • Ideally pursuing a bachelor’s degree, but master’s students are also welcome
  • Reliable, meticulous, and dedicated work ethic
  • Discretion, as well as a passion for communication and working with people
  • Good written and spoken German skills
  • Prior knowledge of medicine or pharmacy is an advantage for medical report processing
  • For the IT department, relevant prior knowledge and an interest in programming and data management are desirable
