We are committed to fostering young talent, providing excellent teaching, and supporting the education, training, and professional development of our team in order to successfully address current and future challenges. To this end, we offer a wide range of development opportunities through multidisciplinary programs, including postgraduate degree programs in areas such as (bio-)medicine and epidemiology, summer schools, and structured funding and career development programs for physician-scientists and highly qualified students. We place particular emphasis on equal opportunities, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the targeted development of future leaders. In addition, PKMP enables dedicated students to participate in research schools and excellence networks that provide structured training, mentoring, and scientific networking opportunities to support individual career development, for example through TransMed Mainz, CTH Mainz, IMB Mainz, or DZHK.
