In the field of clinical care, the Center for Preventive Medicine provides medical care for patients as part of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention of cardiovascular diseases. In the field of preventive medicine, as well as in our other two subdivision, Clinical Epidemiology and Systems Medicine, and at our Mainz location within the DZHK, we are actively engaged in scientific research. We focus on patient-oriented, translational cardiovascular research. Our primary focus is on conducting clinical trials to improve the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of cardiovascular diseases.
