Free Transportation for Study Participants
In collaboration with Mainzer Mobilität, we are pleased to offer all participants in the Gutenberg Health Study a ticket for public transportation within the Mainzer Mobilität service area, allowing them to travel to and from the study center free of charge.
Take the bus to the “Universitätsmedizin” stop.
From Mainz Central Station, you can reach us using the following bus routes:
- 62 (Gonsenheim Wildpark – Weisenau/Friedrich-Ebert-Str.)
- 63 (Mombach/Am Lemmchen – Laubenheim)
- 67 (Mainz/Hbf – Zornheim/Hahnheimer Str.)
- 71 (Stadecken – Landwehrweg)
- 76 (Mainz-Neustadt – Mainz-Hechtsheim)
- 652 (Sörgenloch/Neustraße)
- 660 (Alzey/Bahnhof)

You can reach us using the following tram lines:

From the Mainz-Süd highway interchange, continue toward the city center and then follow the signs for “Universitätsklinikum.”
For parking, you can use the “Augustusplatz” parking garage at Römerlager (enter via “Obere Zahlbacher Straße” onto the one-way street “Römerlager”) or the “Parkhaus Urologie, Orthopädie und Konservative Medizin” parking garage (entrance at Langenbeckstraße/Am Linsenberg).
