Juniorprofessorship 'Computer-Assisted Systems Medicine'

Assistant Professor for Computer-Assisted Systems Medicine

Jun. Prof. Elisa Araldi, PhD

The research group “Computer-assisted systems medicine" is integrated in the CTH and in Preventive Cardiology and Medical Prevention (PKMP) at the Department of Cardiology. We use systems medicine approaches to integrate clinical, genetic, phenotypic exposome data with lipidomics, proteomics, metabolomics data obtained from standardized mass spectrometry techniques to better understand heart failure.

Research Interest

  • Systems medicine analysis of clinical and molecular heterogeneity of heart failure
  • Identification of novel molecular markers of heart failure subtypes
  • Prediction of heart failure development with a multi-omics systems medicine approach
  • Characterization of metabolic signatures in heart failure with single-cell RNA sequencing
