The registration can be made via patient organizer in SAP. This is done in analogy to already established tumor board registrations. This SAP-registration is explained in detail in the instructions available for download on the right. Should you have further questions regarding registration please do not hesitate to contact the Microbiology Office (contact: Mrs. Wiedmann, phone: 17-9233, email: momalley@uni-mainz.de), Mr. OA Dr. E. Siegel (Funk 194-6052) or Mr Dr. M. Dennebaum (Funk 194-6052).Board registrations must be made by 12 noon on the Monday before the board, later registrations should be coordinated with the contact persons mentioned above. The SAP-based registration form should indicate whether other specialties should be present at the board (for example, a radiologist to present relevant images).
Board presentation
A supervising medical colleague presents the case orally. If necessary, findings are presented directly (e.g. microbiological, virological, radiological or histo-pathological findings by an appropriate specialist colleague). This is followed by an open discussion. Certification
The Infectiological Board is certified as an official training event by the Medical Association.
