20.04.2026 We are pleased to invite all staff and students to a distinguished lecture by Shimon Sakaguchi, MD, PhD (Immunology Frontier Research Center, Osaka University, Japan), recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2025. Prof. Sakaguchi is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in the field of regulatory T cells. In his lecture, Regulatory T cells for immune tolerance,” he will present key insights into the mechanisms of immune regulation and tolerance, offering a rare opportunity to engage directly with groundbreaking research that has shaped modern immunology. This special event is co-hosted by the IMMH and the Transregional Collaborative Research Centre TRR 355 “Heterogeneity and functional specialization of regulatory T cells in distinct microenvironments.”
