Infectiological Consultation Service
For our senders, we offer a comprehensive consulting and consultation service, which enables us to put our microbiological findings into the right clinical context. In addition to telephone information on all questions of laboratory diagnostics and therapy, we offer individual consultations on site (bed consults) as well as clinical microbiological/infectiological visits to various organizational units or individual facilities within and outside of the University Medical Center Mainz.
For all our senders: consultation in case of emergencies:
We offer a medical consultation service for emergencies to all our senders around the clock. This service is available outside regular working hours via cell phone:

Infectiological consultation service of the Interdisciplinary Infection Medicine Mainz (IIM):
In addition to this offer, we participate in the infectiological consultation service of the Interdisciplinary Infection Medicine Mainz (IIM) / DGIZ, which can be used by all physicians of the University Medical Center Mainz (on weekdays Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00).

The Interdisciplinary Infection Medicine Mainz (IIM) and the DGIZ established an infectiological consultation service for patients within the University Medical Center Mainz in cooperation with the Department of Internal Medicine I, the Department of Internalt Medicine III and the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene:
