Biochemical and Cell Pharmacology

Prof. Dr. Ellen I. Closs researches in the field of biochemical and cell pharmacology, with a focus on:  

• transporters of cationic amino acids and biochemical metabolic and signaling pathways in which these amino acids are involved (e.g. synthesis of NO, urea, polyamine creatine, mTOR pathway, translation control).
