Research

Our research group is focused to study molecular alterations driving the development of lymphoma/leukemia as well as B-cell subset differentiation using loss and gain of function approaches in the mouse. In particular we want to understand how different signalling pathways, such as NF-κB and PI3K/AKT signalling contribute to B-cell differentiation and cancer development/progression. In line with this, we are focusing on different ubiquitin editing enzymes, such as CYLD, Otubain1, A20/TNFAIP3, the oncogene Bcl-3 and AKT. Further, we are currently investigating the role of B cells in solid tumours, such as colorectal cancer
