FZI Seminar: "NK cell memory and innate lymphoid cells"

Veranstalter: Research Center for Immunotherapy (FZI)

Joseph C. Sun is an expert in CD8+ T cell and NK cell immunology. During his PhD in Mike Bevan’s Lab he made major contributions to our understanding of CD4+ T cell help for CD8+ T cells. As a Post Doc in Lewis Lanier’s Lab Joe Sun discovered memory responses of NK cells during MCMV infection. His lab has since been studing transcription factors (Nat. Immunol. 2014, J Exp Med 2013, 2014), DNA damage response by RAG recombinase (Cell, 2014), innate cytokines (J Exp Med 2013, JI 2015) and metabolism and mitophagy (Immunity 2015) in the context of NK cells and Innate lymphoid cells.

After the semianr we invite you to a wine tasting of the Weingut Lindenhof (H. Stenner) from Mainz/Hechtsheim.
