Fachveranstaltung

FZI-Seminar: Andreas Schlitzer, Bonn: Redefining myeloid cell development - one cell at a time

Veranstalter: Research Center for Immunotherapy (FZI)

The Emmy Noether Research Group Myeloid Cell Biology of Dr. Schlitzer focuses on the investigation of the development and functional specialization of the myeloid cell compartment in mouse and man. The focus of our work are Dendritic cells and Monocytes. Dendritic cells are the most important antigen presenting cell type through out the immune system and develop from dedicated precursors in the bone marrow. During their development Dendritic cells acquire functional specialization and tissue specific adaption and we are investigation how these processes are regulated on a transcriptomic and functional level. (more info...)

After the seminar we will organize a debriefing.
If you want to meet Dr. Schlitzer before his talk please do not hesitate to contact Doreen Nothmann (see below)
