FZI-Seminar: Stefan Bittner, Mainz: "K2P potassium channels regulate T cell development and immunity"


Veranstalter: Research Center for Immunotherapy (FZI)

    Prof. Bittner is the new Professor for Neuroimmunology at the Clinin for Neurology at the Univerisity Medical Center Mainz.
    His main research interests:

    To explore the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying the neuroinflammatory damage in multiple sclerosis focusing on:
    - Ion channel-mediated regulation of immune cell and CNS functions
    - Regulation of immune cell migration into the CNS
    - Therapeutic translation of immunphysiology
