It is our pleasure to announce the 2nd MSU Light Microscopy Workshop, supported by Leica.
It will take place on the 13th and 14th of July (from 9 am to appr. 5 pm) 2016.
As you can see in the attached program, the first day will start with theoretical lectures by Dr. Gregory Harms, an expert in light microscopy from Wilkes University (Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA) and Drs. Jan de Bock and Karl-Heinz Koertje, from Leica. The entire workshop is FREE of charge and the first session with talks is open for everyone interested as we have no space restrictions.
After a lunch break the 'hands-on'workshop will start which is divided into three modules with appr. 7-8 persons per group/module. Because of space constraints, we have to restrict the number of participants to this part of the workshop to appr. 24. Thus, if you are interested in the 'hands-on' workshop, please register at inmelzer@uni-mainz.de until the 11th of July (please also give your status, affiliations, and institute).
Preference will be given to early career researchers, especially PhD students and postdocs.
