Below you will find all upcoming events, such as talks, transferable skills courses, or lab courses.
All listed events carry a number of TransMed credit points corresponding to the time of attendance. 0.1 TransMed credit point is equivalent to 45 minutes of attendance.
The formal lecture will be followed by a get-together with snacks and drinks which will give all participants the possibility to exchange opinions about the lecture, talk to the speaker or to representatives from Merck (sponsor) and colleagues from the faculty. All colleagues, but especially UCT members, students and graduate students are strongly encourages to use this opportunity to "broaden your horizon" and expand your network.
For up to 6 selected students or Postdocs, we offer a "meet the speaker" session at 4 pm (1 hour) in the CTH conference room, building 708, 3rd floor. The session will be chaired by Dr. Inga Melzer and students are encouraged to prepare all kinds of questions to our speaker ranging from career development to research related questions. If you are interested in joining, please contact Dr. Melzer until 3rd of November, 2017 ( inmelzer@uni-mainz.de).
There is also the possibility to make a personal appointment with Prof. Ivaska during her visit on the 7th of November.
