Below you will find all upcoming events, such as talks, transferable skills courses, or lab courses.
All listed events carry a number of TransMed credit points corresponding to the time of attendance. 0.1 TransMed credit point is equivalent to 45 minutes of attendance.
The recent years have revealed that T cell priming is not a single event. Instead, several T cell - Dendritic cell interactions in different microanatomical locations of the lymph node are required for the optimal development of cellular immunity. In my talk, I will review our current knowledge of these events that lay the ground for a functional memory response during the first days of activation. I will further show our work on the T cell intrinsic function of the AP-1 factor BATF3 and discuss how it could be utilized to optimize adoptive immunotherapy approaches. Finally, I will share our unpublished results on the function of dendritic cells in the context of checkpoint immunotherapy.
