Prof. Peter H. Krammer is one of leading scientists in the field of apoptosis. He and his lab members discovered the CD95 receptor (APO1) and several in the CD95-signal pathway involved proteins. Prof. Krammer recieved many important awards in the field of tumor science such as the Robert Koch Prize, the German Cancer Prize and the Johann-Georg-Zimmermann Medal.
