DGI Centre Mainz (DGIZ)

In June 2019, the DGI Centre Mainz was approved. In addition to many other centres in Germany, we fulfil the conditions of the German Society for Infectiology to provide high-quality, adequate interdisciplinary, comprehensive care and treatment of patients with infectious diseases in an exemplary manner and to be active in infectiological research. DGI centres are also centres for education and training of young clinical and scientific staff.

In addition to the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene, the following institutions form the DGI Centre Mainz (DGIZ):
