EViPan – Development, Evaluation and Implementation of regional adaptive care structures and processes for an evidence based pandemic management coordinated by university medicine institutions (or: the network of academic medical research)

EViPan is a project within the national network of academic medical research into COVID-19 (Nationales Netzwerk Universitätsmedizin – NUM). The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy is coordinating the EViPan work package 3.1 on ‘personnel resource management’. In this work package occupational health physicians, hospital hygienists, anesthesiologists, psychosomatics and psychiatrists of 15 German university hospitals are working together on an interdisciplinary basis to develop, evaluate and implement best-practice solutions and interventions for sustaining and restoring employee physical and mental health in the pandemic. The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy is also participating in the EViPan work package 4.3 on psychosocial and mental health care requirements and barriers to care in the pandemic.
