Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery

Back pain, crunching in the knees and cracking in the hips... complaints of the musculoskeletal system are among the most common health problems of people worldwide. Additionally, the risk of degenerative changes to the musculoskeletal system increases as we age.

At the Center for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery (ZOU), we conduct targeted examinations to help you detect abnormalities such as poor posture or restriction of motion as well as diseases at an early stage. By initiating prophylactic or therapeutic measures, the development of complaints or a deterioration of already existing problems can be prevented and possible surgical interventions can be delayed or averted.

Our spectrum covers all areas of conservative and surgical orthopedics and trauma surgery at the highest level. In addition to the round-the-clock care of (severely) injured patients, the main focus of our center is on endoprosthetic joint replacement for osteoarthrosis as well as spinal surgery, pediatric orthopedics, the treatment of osteoporosis and the diagnosics and therapy of all tumor diseases of the musculoskeletal system. In addition, there is great expertise in the treatment and diagnostics of all sports injuries and in the sports medical care of (competitive) athletes.

Optimal patient care is the focus of our center's practice. In close cooperation with nursing and physical therapy, our qualified physicians work as a team to provide outpatient and inpatient care. Open and honest communication at eye level with our patients is very important to us.
