The following rules must currently be considered when making appointments:
Persons residing in Germany:
Appointments can generally be made without restirctions. A current negative test (collected within 24 hours prior to appointments can be made in all departments of the University Medical Center Mainz again.
Persons residing abroad:
Appointment can generally be made. Please contact us so that we can give you more information on what to consider when entering from your country of origin.
Please note that due to a general ban on visitors, no accompanying persons are currently permitted at the Mainz University Medical Center. THis rule does not apply to interpreters.

- Keep a distance from other people (1.5 m), refrain from shaking hands and avoid hugging or other close physical contact.
- If you have to cough or sneeze, use the crook of your arm or a tissue. In addition, it is advisables to avoid touching your face as much as possible.
- Ensure thorough and regular hand washing and the use of sanitizers.
- Air out rooms regularly.
