Doctoral Training

Junior physicians and scientists are the future of the field of thrombosis and hemostasis. While University studies lay the fundamentals in each academic career, the doctoral training is the period, where students become acquainted with research. The CTH puts special effort into structuring an innovative educational offer aimed at doctorate students. The aim is to provide a curriculum with a focus on research in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis with a strong clinical component and coursework to complement the training in the laboratory.

Please contact the group leader of the respective unit you are interested in to find out more about available projects for natural scientists and medical students. The CTH suppors highly motivated medical students who dedicate a whole semester to do research for their MD thesis with a salary support (HiWi position). Accepted PhD students may participate in the MD-PhD/PhD-Program TransMed.
