TRP X17 - Platelet function in patients with peripheral arterial disease on different anti-thrombotic treatments
Funding period: 01.09.2018 - 28.02.2019
Patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) are at increased risk for cardiovascular events. Anti-thrombotic therapy improves prognosis in PAD patients. Current studies implicate that in particular in high risk PAD patients more intensive anti-thrombotic treatment can reduce cardiovascular events.
Up to now the different mechanism are not clear. The aim of this study is to evaluate platelet function of PAD patients with different anti-thrombotic therapies.
