Prof. Karin Visser is a renowned researcher in Breast Cancer and Metastasis Research, especially on the role of Inflammation in Cancer.
Her group has been successfully investigating the impact of the immune system on the metastatic spread of breast cancer. Currently, her lab is focussing on designing immunomodulatory strategies to increase the efficacy of conventional anti-cancer therapies.
