Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA)

Course description:

Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) is a tool which can be used to interpret and analyze omics data, and to identify new biomarkers in the context of biological systems. The University Medical Center has an IPA license; if you plan to use IPA, just contact the Core Facility Bioinformatics (BIUM (MZ)) asking for an account.

Organized by: BIUM(MZ) Core Facility Bioinformatics; supported by QIAGEN

Trainer: André Koper, a QIAGEN employee

Topics:

  • Core Analysis with emphasis on RNA-seq data
  • Comparison Analysis & Analysis Match (a new feature we will have in our licensed product!)
  • IsoProfiler
  • My Pathway & multi-omics overlays
  • New feature and development
  • Q&A

This Workshop covers also some advanced features of IPA.

Target audience, number of participants:

Doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers

Maximum number of participants: 30

Preparation

Participants are expected to bring a laptop and to make sure that they followed the instructions under "Important information" in the form (IPA Client installation + download demo data).

There are webinar recordings (http://tv.qiagenbioinformatics.com/tag/IPA) that one could refer to as a refresher (Introduction to IPA, Data Upload, Core Analysis Setup and Results) or to prepare in advance before the workshop.
