This course covers the basics of mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics. Based on relevant recent application studies we introduce all crucial aspects of the pipeline from sample application up to data interpretation.

10:45 – 11:15 Coffee Break

11:10 – 11:55 Basics of MS for metabolomics (TS) 

Lunch break: 11:55 – 13:15

Session II: 13:15 - 16:00

13:15 – 14:00 Practical example and data interpretation for metabolomics (TS)

14:00 – 15:00 Practical example and data interpretation for proteomics (DGZ & UD)

15:00 – 16:00 QA session & Coffee 


Methodology: 
Theoretical and practical input by the trainer by showing examples. Participants can send their questions and areas of interest to TransMed prior to the course.

Target Audience: doctoral candidates, postdocs, and clinician scientists

Maximum Number of Participants: 24

Preparation: Please send your questions and areas of interest within proteomics and metabolomics to TransMed up to one week before the course.
